Notes are very easy to create and if you organize them properly, they can help you in many situations. With the aid of a few, simple notes, you can remind yourself about a certain aspect that you want to cover in your project, save an interesting quote, which you want to remember and much more. NoteClip can help you create notes much faster and easier. It is a simple, lightweight application which you can use to organize your notes and create new ones by copying existing text to the clipboard.

The setup file is 5.67 Mb large and it will install the application almost instantly. You will spend more time specifying a destination path and going through the wizard's steps than waiting for the process to finish. NoteClip is free and it works on popular Windows versions, but it is recommended to use it on Windows XP or Win 7.

Notes are created in the larger area of the interface and edited on a separate window, where you can type your text and select different font settings. If you want to edit your text in a standard Windows Notepad or another third party application, you may click the Edit option, on NoteClip's text editor. You can select an application from a drop menu, next to the Edit option. Once you hit this option, the selected application will launch immediately, and your text will be pasted automatically.

The application comes with a few interesting ways of creating notes. Clicking an option, in the upper right corner of the interface, will reveal NoteClip's creation methods in a pop up menu. If you activate the clipboard monitor, you will be able to create notes instantly, by simply copying text to the clipboard, from any application's interface. You can also use hotkeys to execute the same task or to add append text to an existing note. The hotkeys are configured on the software's general settings menu, where you can also specify a password if you want to lock certain notes. Alternatively, you may create a note just by importing a text file, in TXT, HTML, XML, CSV, CSS or other formats.

Pros

NoteClip provides some interesting methods of creating notes. While the application is running, you may create notes just by copying text to the clipboard or using hotkeys. You can organize your notes in groups and sub-groups and edit them with NoteClip's built in editor or a third party application.

Cons

It is not possible to select multiple notes at once. NoteClip's smart functions enable you to retrieve any text and save it as a note instantly. Thanks to its clean and simple interface, this task can not be easier.
